Model United Nations
What is MUN?
MUN students act as delegates from different countries convening at United Nations committees to discuss and vote on ways to address global issues.
Students receive committee and country assignments before each conference, based on which they engage in research to represent their country effectively, write position papers, and prepare speeches for committee sessions. At conference, students engage in discussion, debate, and collaborative resolution-writing with peers.
Why MUN?
Given the multi-faceted nature of MUN, students develop a wide range of academic and life skills that support their personal and interpersonal growth.
